Is LASIC OR LASER SURGERY SAFE😮/ क्या LASIK या LASER सर्वेक्षण सुरक्षित है
Today I got Lasik surgery done for the second time.
I did it for the first time about 7 years ago, only for the right eye ( I didn't have any power in my left eye then). This time it was for the left eye - finally
I am specs free!
Despite being so experienced, I got cold feet as I entered the operation room. The steps are simple - they put a ring across your eyes to keep them wide open.
After that, they use a blade to peel your cornea and finally use laser over cornea to correct your power. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes.
All one has to do is keep calm and not make any sudden movements.
There is no anaesthesia used in the surgery so one can feel and see everything with their open eye. In the middle of the surgery, I heard the roaring of the laser machine and mumbled feebly,
“Doctor, I'm scared. I can't see anything clearly” What really helped me was how he kept talking to me at every step after that. “It's normal. don't worry, the tough part is done”
Frankly, one doesn't really experience any pain throughput - just feels weird for a few seconds when they put lots of fluids into your eye and literally cut something out of it. But you can't panic.
I don't like wearing specs and contact lenses seem like nuisance so I think Lasik Surgery is a great way to transform your appearance! It's funny how most of my friends thought it was super risky and said they would never do it, after I told them about my plans
Also, don't go for fancy ones like Smile - my doctor did the cheapest, old - blade surgery and both the times I've got great results.
COST FOR 2 EYES- ₹ 35K
